Subject: Microsemi SOC In House Programming and First Article process
Dear Valued Customer,
Microsemi SOCs IGLOO2 and SmartFusion2 device families support multiple programming file formats. The two most commonly used are STAPL(*.stp) and Dat(*.dat). Previously Microsemi only supported the STAPL format for In House Programming (IHP). But for the best possible lead-times customers are now required to submit their files in both the *.dat and *.stp format.
Customers must now supply the following files in a single zipped file during first article upload:
<design name>.dat
<design name>.stp
Where <design name> is a customer defined design name.
Please contact Microsemi SOC Technical Support if have questions or need support.
